Penrith Conservatorium is the premiere place for music lessons in Western Sydney. Whether you’d like to learn for leisure, learn to write a song, or if you are determined to become the next piano prodigy, our quality teachers will bring out the best in you. The proven preferred delivery method for music lessons, the one-to-one nature allows the class to be tailored to you – your learning style, pace and preferences.

For students of all ages, beginner to advanced, our experienced music teachers are qualified to prepare all students wanting AMEB and/or HSC examinations, right through to top concert standard.

From Term 2, all private music lessons at Penrith Conservatorium will be offered online until The Joan’s doors reopen. Our music tutors are all set up to deliver lessons using Zoom, Skype or even Facetime. Enjoy tailored private music lessons all from the comfort of your own home.

Format: Weekly lessons during school terms.

Our Teachers: The Penrith Conservatorium team with over 25 tutors have outstanding qualifications as both performers and teachers. We offer private music lessons from beginner level through to AMEB Grade 8 and beyond to concert standard. Many students go on to become musicians and music educators themselves, whilst many others enjoy the pleasure and excitement that music brings into their everyday lives. Our qualified teachers have a WWCC clearance and they all have rigorous training in performance and decades of experience.

Free Online Concert Practice Groups & Music Appreciation Webinars

Exclusive to students continuing their private music lessons online throughout Term 2 in 2020, Penrith Conservatorium will be hosting free music appreciation webinars and online concert practice groups.

All enrolled students will be contacted with information on signing up to these offers once they are available.

Available For: All students who sign up for private music lessons online in Term 2 will be invited to an appropriate group. Webinars will also be recorded and made available for students to watch at a later time.

Cost: Free with every online private lesson enrolment in Term 2.

When: Stay tuned! Exact details will be provided to all enrolled students in due course.

Online Concert Practice

All enrolled students will be allocated to closed forum with groups of 15 – 20. Each week 2 – 3 students will be rostered on to record and upload their performances like a concert.

Students and teachers can watch and will be encouraged to engage and comment. We will be strictly moderating comments to ensure that an encouraging and constructive atmosphere is in place.

Platforms: Google Classrooms and Zoom

Group size: Approximately 15 students per community.

Available For: All students who sign up for private music lessons online in Term 2 will be allocated to an appropriate group (You can opt-out if not interested).

Cost: Free with every individual lesson sign up in Term 2.

Music Appreciation Webinars

Hosted by Penrith Conservatorium’s management team, you will get the chance to learn about interesting topics relevant for different age groups. Each session will have a limited number of students to encourage discussion, and we will run multiple sessions at different times for you to choose from.
