Yasmin Arkinstall

Yasmin is a soprano with a passion for classical and classical crossover music, having completed a Bachelor of Music (Vocal Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2018. Yasmin has sung for and been interviewed by Studio 10 in 2018 and 2019, and has shared her story with CutCommon magazine.

Notable solo performances took place at The Schools Spectacular when she was 8 years old, City Recital Hall for 500 of Deutche Bank’s leading business women, The Opera House for the 2013 Smith Family annual ceremony, the 2013 UWS campaign launch for Julia Gillard when she was Prime Minister, Stepping Stone House’s 2019 Sleep Under the Stars event MC’d by Kyle Sandilands, and the 2019 David Jones (Elizabeth Street) shoe floor launch with Studio 10’s Sarah Harris, Let’s Connect Women, The Smith Family, and Comm Bank present.

Yasmin has sung as soprano soloist in 2019 for Vivaldi’s Gloria in D major and Handel’s Messiah at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. Her most recent theatre experience was playing Polly Peachum in the Beggars Opera and Susanna in Figaro. She was also nominated for the 2019 and 2020 Seven News Young Achiever Award in the NSW/ACT Community Services category.
