Leila Harris is an innovative and passionate composer, musician and performer. She is currently studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Her composition transcends genres, creating a unique blend of classical and theatrical contemporary music. She has written a broad range of works for solo piano, voice, instrumental groups, and electronic sound. Leila completed Grade 8 piano in 2018 (ANZCA Honours Result), Grade 8 classical voice in 2018 (AMEB A Result) and Grade 5 flute in 2016 (AMEB A+ Result). Her musical career has included engagement in musicals, opera, choir and other performances.

Leila has participated in many masterclasses, including at the 2018 Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS) national conference, and competitions including placing in the top 5 finalists in both 2017 and 2019 in the Australasian Piano Pedagogy Composition Competition. Leila is passionate about actively engaging in musical activity within the local and wider community and collaborating with a broad range of musicians.
