Monica Cichon (Violin)

In our Tutor Spotlight series, we learn a little more about the team behind the music!

Monica graduated with a Masters of Music in violin from the Academy of Music of Ignacy J. Paderewski in Poznan, Poland. During her time there she studied with Prof. M. Grabarczyk. Her earlier studies include tuition with Dr Robin Wilson and Prof. Wanda Wilkomirska. In Australia and Europe, she has taken part in masterclasses and lessons with Adrian Keating, Simon Fischer, Daniel Draganov and Christina Astrand.

In recent years she has worked casually with Filharmonia Gorzowska, Gorzow Wielkopolski in Poland, and the Kreaspiracji charity performances collaborating with members from the Poznan Philharmonic. Other professional experience also includes the Canberra Symphony Orchestra before that. Monica has been teaching young violin students since 2003. She is passionate about finding an individual approach to every student and promoting a strong foundation to build upon.
