Get an orchestral experience from the comfort of your home

PENRITH YOUTH ORCHESTRA (PYO) has evolved into a high-quality symphony orchestra for talented school-age musicians since it was established in 2015. A partnership between the Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO), Penrith Conservatorium at The Joan and Penrith Symphony Orchestra (PSO), PYO rehearses and performs four times per year under the guidance of Artistic Director, Dr Paul Terracini.

While all of us have to stay home and stay safe right now, PYO is excited to bring you PYO Online – a scaled-down version of our regular face to face workshop program. This is the perfect opportunity for you to get an orchestral experience at this introductory online workshop. PYO Online will allow students to have an hour tutorial that includes technical work and exercises with a PSO musician. Each session will also be recorded for students to access at their convenience.

Suitable for ages 9 – 21

Please note: You will not be required to be part of PYO if you sign up for PYO Online.
