For 2 or more siblings between the ages of 1.5 to 5 years old

A specially designed class for families with siblings of mixed ages, this early childhood music class will incorporate elements of both La La Lambs and Funky Monkeys classes filled with music and movement! These classes are for children aged between 1.5 and 5 years and involve attendance with a loved adult.

Stimulating their musical intelligence, the early childhood family Class offers a nurturing environment where children stimulate their musical inclinations with social, emotional, kinesthetic and linguistic developments. Music foundations of pitch, dynamics, rhythm, tempo and structure are delivered in a friendly environment that allows interaction between siblings and friends.

Cost:$160 per participating child

About the Tutor:

Clare Richards

Clare began her own musical education at age of 5 at The Joan and is very excited to be teaching the new toddler program at the centre. Currently, with a Bachelor of Music from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Clare has studied both the Orff and Kodály methods in music education, as well as vocal pedagogy. Putting these techniques into practice, each class through singing, moving, actions and instrument play, classes concentrate on developing each child’s musical understanding, confidence, imagination, and creativity. Clare is passionate about all genres of music and has great enthusiasm when it comes to introducing music to young people.
