A gift does not have to be large to impact positively on a person’s life or even their daily well-being. For a very small amount you can help someone realise their musical dreams, attend a production or workshop or even commission a new work.

At the heart of Penrith Performing & Visual Arts is our desire to continue to present a program of artistic excellence and create an accessible environment for everyone.  The Joan is a not-for-profit local community asset. Our box office income can’t cover the true cost of putting on our productions and running all our artistic development and community programs. With a little bit of help from you we can do so much more as we work to keep our programs accessible to all.

Donations come in many sizes and small amounts from many generous people all add up to larger contributions.  Together your donations do more than you would imagine including:

  • Subsidising tickets and workshops for young people and school groups to attend a production
  • Providing music scholarships for disadvantaged students to attend the Penrith Conservatorium
  • Assisting The Q to commission and produce new work
  • Free performances for local community and welfare groups
  • Support emerging artists

Your fully tax-deductible donation will help us reach new heights.

A DGR Receipt will be emailed to you by our Box Office team after your donation has been received and processed.

To say thank you we hold regular events to bring our donors closer to the community. When you make a donation of more than $250 you will receive invitations to attend our own productions. Donate $1000 or more and you will also be invited to regular special VIP events. All Donations over $5000 will also be included in the current year’s donor board. All donations are recognised for 12 months from the time of donation.
